Arapahoe House  Located in Thronton, Colorado (CO), Arapahoe House Day Treatment is for adolescents who are in need of drug/alcohol and/or mental health services but in a more intensive setting than outpatient services. The program runs Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. These hours are flexible depending on the client and/or family situation. Day Treatment clients receive the same services as the residential clients with the exception that they do not remain overnight.

Boulder Community Hospital  Boulder Community Hospital's New Horizons is an after school program for adolescents with drug and alcohol issues. Teens learn accurate information about the risks of drug use and are challenged to explore consequences of use in their lives. Our goal is to build commitment and support for teens to choose a healthy drug- and alcohol-free lifestyle. Family members are actively involved in the treatment experience.

Crossroads' Turning Points 
Crossroads' Turning Points adolescent outpatient treatment program services teens in an outpatient setting, ranging from 1 to 3 hours weekly for a minimum of 12 weeks. It includes individual, family, and group sessions. The sessions focus on teen-specific substance use issues, including education of the addiction process, physiological effects of substance abuse, refusal skills development and enhancement, and relapse prevention.

It deals with all drugs including alcohol, and covers the physical/psychological effects, the addiction process, relapse & recovery, peer refusal skills and alternatives to use.

Island Grove Regional Treatment Center  Island Grove Regional Treatment Center in Colorado offers outpatient structured therapy which provides the opportunity for each client (age 13 and up) to achieve their fullest potential and increase the quality of life when adversely affected by drugs and/or alcohol, through individual and group counseling, anger management, Level I and II education groups, DUI Level II therapy, relapse prevention, and domestic violence counseling (child care services available for female clients).
